The Westchester / Nottingham Forest VIII Women's Club
is the neighborhood's social organization. Originally formed in 1969
as the Westchester Garden Club, the organization plans monthly
programs and activities to enrich the lives of members and serve the
community. The club flower is the daisy.

Social activities include morning coffees held in
members' homes; lunch bunch and art-to-lunch
get-togethers; local tours and
outings; scrap booking, and
holiday socials. Funds raised
from club projects and activities are donated annually to
organizations that serve the surrounding Memorial area community.
Club enrichment programs include book exchanges, a
couples book club, intraclub and
league tennis, couples, duplicate and marathon bridge, and
Ruppies (Retired Urban
Professionals). Contact information for these groups is in the
club's directory, which is updated annually.
Membership is open to residents of Westchester and
Nottingham Forest VIII upon payment of annual dues of $15 in May to
the club's treasurer.
